Understanding what Gyprock is

Gyprock is a very popular building product utilized in the construction of interior walls and ceilings. This material was introduced to Australia way back in the 1940’s. It is also commonly referred to as gypsum board, drywall, or plasterboard. Standard plasterboard is manufactured by sandwiching a gypsum plaster layer between two very thick sheets of specialised paper.
